This in some small way will give insight to where my heart is and how I feel about some of the chain of events hurting America.

It's time to clean our house America! Time to rise above and no longer create the fray. Time to find a way to victory with words and deeds not missiles and the down side of depleted Uranium and land mines! Respect for all of Gods children comes to my mind, after all, America professes to be 90% Christian! Why does one run for office today? The actions of certain leaders these last years does not resemble that of patriots hell bent on doing what's right! Does America have one voice? Just one voice that stands on firm ground influenced by conscience and integrity, and not the greedy bottom line? Where have all the Statesmen gone? Then the thought should be! If there were one voice with the courage to lead wisely will that voice survive the onslaught of garbage delivered by those who have an agenda which does not even remotely look like Democracy in action? What's happened to this Republic? What's happened to the heart that once was America?

With all our warts, and we do have our share, at least America began to grow into a nation which began to rise from out of the ashes and address the slavery issue, the demeaning of women and workers, prejudice, the right to vote, etc. For one very brief moment America almost became Camelot! But have we ever really risen to the height of clearly defending all peoples of our Country? Native Americans come to mind! I know for a fact that our government has and continues to act in ways that are not remotely in the best interest of these folks who live on these reservations.

Then there's our interference in the politics of other nations! For years we were told it was to prevent communism from reaching and taking over our country! The hysteria created during the A-bomb era was ridiculous! Look at what the hysteria over 9/11 has caused! Fear worked during the cold war period! Fear has proven to be profitable for all those who have learned that using our fear against us, works! My god! Wake up America! It's been an expensive ride and only a few have been on the receiving end of any real advantages! Take a good look at what's happening to our nation! We're in over our heads (Trillions in debt) and who do you think will suffer the most? All those wealthy folks given all those tax breaks or the war profiteers cleaning up? What about the many Americans forced to live day by day! Folks desperate to escape the deadly maze of networks they inherited from those who have abused their power! All those Americans who have been deserted by the turncoat in the White house! I'm not a complainer and anyone who knows me well will say this is so! I'm a survivor in spite of the challenges that I, my family and some friends, have been going through over these many years! I'm a realist today not the dreamer I once was! But, I still Dare To Dream! Because when all is said and done I believe in the Christ' message! Many leaders use "The Word" to control us but have little understanding nor respect for the messenger! Jesus, and the message he was conveying to his apostles & disciples does not remotely thrive within the corridors of Washington! So many hypocrites! So few humble servants of the Christ! So many Washington insiders conveniently forgetting who they were elected to serve!

Dreadful, insatiable greed coming from those of means who have enough to feed thousands of families and yet, they give no thought to it! They get their hand out! They receive huge tax breaks on the backs of the multitude! The spirit of the multitude is then systematically and most effectively broken. What are they left with? I'm still the idealist though! I've been accused of this over the years as well as being told I was naive! I have had to admit that there is some truth to this! But I'm no longer a girl! I'm a full blown women who has lived and learned over the years that idealists are few and far between and they will be shot down by those who are threatened by this unselfish way of looking at life! Wellstone comes to mind!

Having been a singer for more years, then most stay on one job, I know the sweet taste of success! I'm not speaking of financial success but the success that comes in the knowing that what I accomplished was a job well done! For the artist to reach their (live) audience is never easy! When you are performing to a multitude of folks you're confronted with all manner of personalities and encounter some who are not even likeable! To quiet the savage beast within and have them as quiet as a mouse, listening to your song, and the message you are delivering, takes tenacity and heart! Funny, but I noticed that these unlikable folks were the first to stand on their feet and give you that standing ovation that declares; You've reached my heart! Job well done! If this sounds conceited then those who view it as such have never been disciplined, nor sacrificed to accomplish something that you can feel proud about and for that, I am sorry. But I have reached a place and a time in my life where I have earned the right to say what's on my mind! In one of the books I'm working on I will expand further on this subject and that wondrous side of my life's experiences which was lived as a performer!

But today I'm concerned about the direction of my nation and the lady, who still Dares To Dream, Dreams of a better day for all Americans and prays that we as a people will once again rise out of the ashes of despair! Exploring greater avenues of communication with peoples from other parts of the world! I have always believed in my nation!

I have learned that she, like a spoiled child, has not always set a good example! But like a child, after all America is a young nation, she can grow out of this sordid period of her countries history and move into the light of a more wondrous tomorrow! She cannot do it alone though! We The People have an obligation to rise to the occasion and give it our best shot!! But this will not happen unless leaders serving our nations people serve wisely, compassionately! It can never work as long as leaders are allowed to be perniciously absorbed with their personal agendas.... The bad faith actions of America's leadership and their abuse of power are unquestionable the enemy of our nation! The truth is that many believe Americans may be awakening to the truth all too late! I fear they may be right! I pray each and every day that the soothsayers, many of whom are very wise people, will be proven wrong!

America must defeat the enemy bleeding her dry from within! Before Americans can offer gifts of democracy to others in the world she had better get that speck out of her own eye! What a sad, convenient for some, chain of events that took the one voice of reason coming out of Washington!

Where are the Gandhi's, Mother Theresa's, Martin Luther kings of the world? During this turmoil in Uganda the Mountain Gorilla has been very vulnerable! They have been shot being left to die and some killed for food! One young female watched and mourned over the body of her dieing mom. She was then taken to be sold to a zoo! The Germans have been known to spend large sums to have the hand of a male. yes I said the hand!

The numbers are where they were then about 300 if not lower when Dian Fossey spent her remaining life and indeed gave it up to bring light to this magnificent animals dilemma! The Mountain Gorilla has been on the edge of extinction for many years now! That alone should be reason enough for the more intelligent animal (tongue in cheek) Man to do something constructive, productive yesterday so that we don't lose this beautiful, intelligent, shy, gentle primate giant! God! They are so magnificent! Why is it that so few see that?

This income tax issue is not a new issue just another twist in the way "We" the government decides to handle it! Guns drawn against a couple we are to believe have threatened the government! The way the IRS and other factions of government have functioned over the years I believe that it's the other way around! I am so disillusioned with the lies which have become common place, the norm, coming from our American government that I do not believe much of anything that they say any longer! I have seen the suffering here! I am angry at the suffering being caused by this mentality around the world!

This income tax issue must be reasonably addressed by our leaders since its they who have a profound obligation to get their act together on this and other serious issues facing this nation! What were they thinking with their bankruptcy bill, not! What were they thinking allowing this administration the right to spy on Americans? What were they thinking when they decided to fund an illegal pre-emptive attack on the people of IRAQ that is draining every drop of the American treasury, while killing our people and the children of Iraqis in return!?

If the American people have no say in the way that their tax money is spent and squandered then who does? Many Americans are sick and tired of the "Where's the Money" mentality of this government while the elite few get their grimy hands on every ounce of it! The question should be where's the money going, going, gone! The Iraqi war has squandered and "We" have even lost tens of millions of dollars (how do you lose millions), yet unaccounted for. What does that say to an enlightened people? Eh? Bend over give me more where the sun don't shine?

I hope that the Brown family is able to keep their powder dry but I wonder why, whenever someone bucks the system where moneys concerned, the Government will arrive with guns drawn. Where are all these government players hiding out as tens of millions come up missing via the Enron's, Halliburton's and the ilk! Eh?

Prayers are in order for the safety of the Brown family! They're not criminals, but patriots making a statement that displeases the very people getting all those corporate welfare tax dollars. Our taxes certainly come up short or scant when needed by this nation to fix infrastructures that are collapsing, Veterans damaged by war, the elderly, and Katrina certainly comes to mind! The bridges that have already collapsed! Earthen Dams that are threatening? Talk about terror and acts of terror! Try being on one of those bridges as its collapsing! Think you'd like it GWB? 47 million un-insured Americans! An endless, trillion dollar pacmen eating, War. And that's just Iraq! What about the other wars or conflicts that our taxes go to fund!

What about the favorite nations who receive Hugh amounts of our taxes year after year! I believe that people of any nation professing to be a democracy, a government Of, By, and For the People, have a responsibility to do whatever they can to make and keep their nation strong and healthy! I do not believe that corporate welfare is fair! Period! A nation worth her salt serves the interest of her people! All her people! America, Wake Up! Tomorrow they will find an excuse to come after you or I!

Calvin, I have to admit had I not come back to take a closer look I would not have realized what you were doing here! What I read sounds like hate!I'm glad I came back for a deeper look! You see, at the moment, I'm working for my network DareToDreamNetwork. We're doing whatever we are able to assist this young man, Watada!

We at Dare To Dream Network see Watada as a hero during a time when they are being killed off by this deadly administrations illegal war! Watada has had the courage to Speak Truth to Power and that is so refreshing during a time when even our Washington leaders seem to be unable to do that, at least with much conviction! No matter "WHO" are committing crimes of injustice against fellow human beings, it can only be viewed as barbaric! We urge that the death sentence imposed on Nazanin be commuted immediately; She had the right to defend her niece and herself! The irony is if Nazanin had allowed the rape to take place, she could still be imprisoned, flogged or stoned for having sex outside of marriage unless four male witnesses to the actual rape would testify on her behalf. It seems that woman in that part of the world are damned if they do and damned if they don't. This is not God's will but the will of fools!

The victim’s family must be made aware of its right, under Islamic law, to request a pardon of the condemned; We appeal to the Islamic Republic of Iran to honor its commitment to the ICCPR and ICC, to which they are a state party. When is enough, finally enough? This President didn't serve his nation but
has had the audacity to shamelessly demand the abusive burnout of those

who have! We've lost face in the world! We continue to spit in the faces of
all who have served & are understandably burned out!

A lie took us to war! This administration will not yield until more die
to secure the lie! Americans that continue to back this President have
little respect for this nation and her fighting men and women!

In the last several days I have received two scathing accounts of the after math of Katrina reporting the actions of some citizens of New Orleans. In my opinion, both hatefully directed towards the poor who have found themselves, over the years, for whatever reason, at the mercy of the welfare system , and now after Katrina, at the mercy of the Bushite government...

I see a pattern here, much like the one that arose when old man Bush was President and Vice President before then. We all know, or should know by now that Bush was indeed the President and Reagan nothing more then the invention of the media deceivers, much like the _____ child in the White house at the moment.

Now don't get me wrong I know there are deadbeats in this world as I have met my share over the years. There will always be deadbeats... Cest La Vie...

But these accounts are so angry, directed solely towards the deadbeats that they distort and twist the real horror of Katrina in such a manner that you may find that it's designed to forget the victims. Like the 2000 children who are still unaccounted for... Hundreds of nursing home deaths... Many old and disabled,
good folks, folks who worked thier entire lives caught in Katrinas wrath with no way out...!

I cannot fathom the horror of it.. No car! No local assistance! Doctors, caregivers, the strong, the weak were in need. Were they not all victims of this storms fury.? Where was the outside help? Castro and Chavez offered immediate assistance! Offered! But what about president GWB who turned down these offers? The American president ate his dinner, rested in the safety of the peoples house as his countryman, suffered and died, day after day!

Certainly it can be said and with little doubt, unless you happen to live in outer space, the response of the GWB under his one umbrella team was out to lunch, until well after Katrina had her way with New Orleans, or could it be said, GWB and his team, had it thier way!

I have several reliable sources who were there and some are there at this very moment. They tell quite a different story then this doctor from Mississippi... Trust, it will come out in time...Shit always has a way of rising to the surface...

The Bushites held the White house for 12 years and they have done it again, but only after torturing Clinton and our nation for eight of the years in-between. Now we're into the 5th year of daft king George the 2nd! His father, Chaney and Rove have the reigns of the White house and are undermining our Bill of Rights and Constitution to further their agenda, which started many years ago. They are ever growing their evil strangle hold on our entire nation while usurping her dreams and hopes for the future of all her peoples.

Spewing out their vileness! Threatening or waging unjust wars. Justifying thier lawless actions against the less powerful of our society. Stealing Elections! Re: Tom DeLay... Relentlessly participating in the murder of innocence in Iraq while sacrificing our loved ones here and abroad to further "The immoral Bushite Agenda"...

Millions of Americas' more recent poor were once the middle class! Remember the farmers serious decline during the Reagan/Bush years! Remember yet, the billions if not trillions of dollars spent on the military complex at that same time. The corporate take over of many of these family farms, the illegal mergers then and now..! Many hard working Americans have been brought down to the level of poverty! Unable to afford decent health care, decent food! Utility bills have doubled in many states! Gas in Americas vehicles is a luxury item for the worker, an additional nail in his or her coffin. Americans are losing thier homes at an alarming rate! Bankruptcy is at an all time high! It has been said, not since the great depression, have so many lost so much..

All instigated and perpetuated by the covetous immoral Bushite Gang! They're siphoning off the life's blood of many hardy Americans. Most of these covetous liars have gotten billions in corporate welfare, to pull their corporations out of the mire which they created, and still they're going under!

Everyday more and more Americans are waking up as Americas new poor. Thugs have taken over the White house, the congress, main stream media. They have dared out into the light like the blood suckers they are. spewing their bold pernicious spin, using the public air waves to undermine our freedoms, bend the truth, brain wash the weak, all designed to put the finishing touches on the dastardly deeds of the last 25 years... I realize that there are ingrates in this world! Those who will never be satisfied nor have the ability, nor the desire, to heal their wounds. They will air their negative feelings where ever and how ever they can, as probably did occur in New Orleans... But I say, so What! Many a good folk in New Orleans may have been deeply wounded.. Surely many were understandably angered by the lack of early humane intervention.. I know that many of you, and I too, would have been deeply wounded, disillusioned with our country had we lost a loved one to Katrina.

Reasonable people know full well that humane thoughtful consideration by our nations LEADERS could have alleviated much of the pain and suffering of Katrinas victims, saved lives!

It isn't only that people died but that people are ill and will become ill from a slew of illnesses that could have been prevented... Where were the first responders! Where were those who could support the right of the needy to take water, food and dry clothes without threat of being fired on? Zero Tolorance?

This Presidents insensitivity is deadly.......So was the La. Governors remark : "Shoot to kill"... What about those who were taking water, food to survive? Shoot to Kill! Zero Tolerance!

I firmly feel that those like Pat R., Jimmy S., J. Fallwell, etc, are an embarrassment to those who understand the true teachings of the true, gentle, loving, Christ! It is an abomination what these preachers really believe in their hearts and spew out of their corrupt mouths!

Greed and lust for power has the upper hand in the lives of these men such as Robertson. If they ever knew the heart and vision of the Christ, it's long since past! I understand Pat R. is worth somewhere around one billion dollars... The only reason Mr. Robertson is against the war is, as he put it, it cost money...

What about the lost lives and the lost souls who have forever lost a loved one to this violence Mr. Robertson... What about them?... And just what is it that you don't like about Venezuela's 'LEGALLY ELECTED PRESIDENT, Chavez? Is it the way he is giving back the land to it's original land owners, who were duped out of their ownership years ago by the likes of us... Chavez wishes for his people/farmers to serve their people first, with the fruits of their labors... Something America would do well to think about...

Corporations are taking over and dominating our fertile lands and what do you suppose that will mean someday? We are genetically altering our lands and the things we grow or raise... After all, this action we see before us, we were warned of, as it is biblical!!!

I have not yet confirmed this action but it certainly would not surprise me... Let's see if the Pres. has a photo op. with these trucks as his backdrop... I will follow up as info comes in.

There are rumors that the trucks with the much needed relief supplies having left two days ago were held up when they arrived....

American people’s lives have been on the line for a week, Children, women, elderly, the infirm. WE need to scream out....

Where is the humanity for our own, Mr. President? Why were the weak, ill, aged and the poor not moved to higher, safer ground before the storm hit? Where is the Governor of La.? The same place Gov. Ann Richards of Texas was when "The Branch Davidians" were targeted, cowtowing?

Children do not last long without water Governor Kathleen Babineaux Blanco of La... Their little bodies will start to deteriorate quicker then an adults will with no food or water... With all the dead bodies, and contamination, disease will not be far behind. Without food and water immune systems will run down and be compromised...

Keep in mind main stream media has no problem giving this bad actor his 60 seconds of fame while he reads his script!

This tragedy is something that should rile people of conscience to "Affirmative Action"...This insensitive, self centered man, has shown extreme cruelty towards his nations people, he certainly has not shown the compassion of a Christian given his handling of this terrible tragedy...

This storm would not have had the opportunity to be as devastating as it was on these lives, if GWB were a decent individual... This is a black eye on this nation's President and the nation! This indecisive act is clearly looking deliberate in its intent... Reminiscent of the way GWB governed Texas. He was so judgmental he would not allow for appeals and it is said, innocent people, DNA on at least two later proved this to be true, died, because of this mans twisted idea of justice...

It seems that the Iranians, who we all know were holding American hostages in Iran, were told not to negotiate their release to Jimmy Carter. Carter, who had worked tirelessly, had finally made some real headway. Old man Bush made a deal instead for the Iranians to wait until after Reagan was sworn in. Iran/Contra? Remember El Salvador and Nicaragua?

Shortly after this, old man Bush, Rummy and other cronies went to bed with Iraq's Saddam, supplying Saddam with the weapons to fight Iran, and also giving Saddam the Chemicals, which he eventually used to gas 5000 Kurds. And you all know how that went down over here! We should have been enraged to action then and there, as we watched those bodies of women, children and even their pets lying where they once stood...

No! Old man Bush was going to wait to mete out justice on saddam's evil act on the Kurds until he was re-elected believing re-election would be a shoe in for him, given his Desert Storm success. We all know or should know that Saddam went too far for old man Bush when he waged war with Kuwait. This was the only reason for Desert Storm!

Saddam's beef with Kuwait had something to do with "Oil" which the Kuwaiti's were siphoning from Iraq's oil reserves on their respective borders.

This act of aggression by Saddam without his holiness's approval, angered Bush, as those weapons we supplied Saddam earlier were not to include an attack on Kuwait even if this oil theft were true, which it has been proven to be just that; True! Kuwait was stealing Iraqi Oil! Did we know?

Then there was Ben Ladin of the Saudi family and our participation with assisting he, Ben Ladin, and the Taliban, in getting the firepower they needed to fight the Russians for some 7 years. It was the Taliban and Ben Ladin who sacrificed dearly, finally braking the financial "Back Of Russia"; thus leading to the major media events/hype that followed.

Reagan/Bush took all the bows for having defeated Communism with the wall dividing Germany eventually falling... Now we want Ben Laden. We have Saddam, somewhere. Then there's the trillion dollar gas reserves which run through the country of Afghanistan that had no bearing on anything...Think Not!

And now we are at war in Iraq and it's been going on for years, many innocent people dying on both sides. Still looking for weapons of mass destruction in Iraq? I think not! But they have been found they reside in the White House!

US Embassy in Baghdad inquires into reports that American troops in Iraq have mutinied against their officers. WMR has learned that the US embassy in Baghdad is checking into reports that U.S. troops in Iraq, including National Guardsmen, Army and Marine Corps Reserves, and regular military troops from Louisiana and Mississippi, have mutinied against their officers and are demanding to be immediately sent back home to help their families. It is not known whether the reported mutinies involve physical violence. The reports of rebellions among U.S. troops are filtering out of the Green Zone and at Baghdad International Airport from Iraqis who are are working alongside their American counterparts at both locations.

Betrayal by Their President!

This should not come as any surprise to reasonable people, should it indeed be true? Wake up America! “Americas Shame” has enraged those who are being sacrificed in a strange land, Iraq, while watching helplessly as their loved ones are suffering and dying, being sacrificed by this baffoon in the White house.. What would you or I do, given the circumstances?

God of mercy and love please assist and protect these good folks who may be part of this rebellion in Iraq. Their quest is reasonable! To be home in a time of need for their loved ones, especially since the government that sent them to Iraq has not seen fit to do it's part, is more then understandable! See that they are not shot and or quietly imprisoned. Their deep pain and feeling of helplessness at this moment, is being felt in the lives of many good folks around the nation, who also feel the betrayal of leadership is monumental at this dire juncture!

Betrayal is at the heart of this! While they are sent to war supposedly looking for WMD and to protect Americans from outside tyranny; Tyranny has been born and bred on the home front! It's evil intent is destroying the hope for future of these souls from Louisiana. Are those in Iraq expected to watch as the lives of their loved ones are looked on as fodder for the jackals? This snails pace crawl to aid these folks caught in this deadly storm is an abomination of the highest proportions...
